I am a scientist, writer, photographer and Christian priest.

I want to help scientists, academics and other insatiably curious people explore and develop our spirituality in a way that celebrates our professional and intellectual commitments, but also delights in poetry and mystery.
I am a member of an Independent Catholic jurisdiction, the White Robed Monks of St Benedict, and practice a sacramental and pastoral ministry for all those who seek it, in particular those who have challenges in their relationship to the institutional church.
Everything old is new again. I love to use traditional, analog photographic techniques and hybrid analog-digital workflows to tell modern stories about our place in the world.

A world of overconsumption and careless resource use is not sustainable, and environmental change has the potential to seriously damage our quality of life. We all want to live more sustainably, and promote policies that promote stronger, happier, more durable communities. But what are the best ways to do this, and are they the same everywhere? I have an enduring interest in evidence-based sustainability, and in how we can make better, more environment-friendly decisions as individuals and as communities. (Website coming in due course).
