As a scientist who grew up in a family of artists and humanities scholars, I have naturally felt drawn to tools that combine my interest in chemistry and technology with the heart’s pull toward the aesthetic and poetic.
In this spirit, I use a combination of photographic techniques that include digital, “mainstream” analogue and historic / alternative processes to explore my relationship with the natural and human worlds.
I am also available as an event and product photographer in and around The Netherlands, and will process, scan and print your film for you (for a reasonable fee) if you are a film photographer without a darkroom or handy lab.
